A few weeks ago I was searching the internet for a particular eyeshadow palette and I stumbled across the cult beauty website, I must say I was really impressed by their website as they stock a lot of well known high end brands. I was also quite pleased to see that they had the palette that I've been looking for & do you have any guesses of what palette it may have been?

Hmmm okay I'll tell you, it was the it was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette and let me tell you this you don't know how happy I was to see that they the palette it in stock. I have been eyeing this palette up for months and I decided to finally bite the bullet to purchase it.

Everything about this palette screams elegance the outer casing of the palette is Pink Velvet making the palette look sleek and elegant. The palette contains 14 Warm Rustic tones, as soon as you open the palette the vast berry shades and beautiful champagne shimmer shadows will most definitely catch your eye. For those of you who have blue eyes these shades of beautiful burnt orange's will really compliment your eye colour.

I was really impressed by the pigmentation of the shadows, they applied smoothly and stayed in place. Personally I noticed that the shadows have a chalky consistency which makes easier to blend in my opinion allowing you to create a beautiful, soft and sultry smokey eye. This palette is really versatile as there is so many alternative looks that you can create for everyday wear/a night out.

Was it worth spending money on the palette? oh for sure, as soon as I removed the packaging I knew this was a fab buy. It has all the perks rolled into one: the outer casing is sleek and elegant, the palette itself is compact making it great for carrying in your handbag, it has every shade you need to create a natural smokey eye or a more intense eye. At first I was unsure to buy it because I normally tend to stick with more affordable brands but I'm glad now I did.

Before I go I have a little trick that I'm sure you'll love as much as I do to share with you guys! If you own Duraline by Inglot then you must do the following:

  • Step 1: Take a shade that you love from your favourite palette!
  • Step 2: Add a drop of Duraline and combine the solution!

You can now use your eyeshadows as an eyeliner or even as a lipstick, cool huh?!

Until Next Time Bee's,
