I Always like to try out new products one day on Instagram I stumbled across Mume Brush cleaner I was rather intrigued I had to order it online and give it a try. For those who aren’t familiar with MuMe Brush cleaner is a multi-award winning brand all produced and made in Ireland.

Over time and use your makeup brushes can contain residue of makeup and dead skin cells this can build up inside your brushes and cause bacteria which can lead to skin care problems. Its rather important to ensure your brushes are cleaned thoroughly to prevent from skincare problems occurring  as I work as a makeup artist its hugely important for me to sterilise and thoroughly clean my brushes between clients for personal and client use I was looking for a product that is going to deep clean my brushes and keep my brushes clean between clients and MuMe have both a solid soap and a daily brush cleaner. The great thing about MuMe’s products is that they all contain natural ingredients and are cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. I purchased the makeup brush cleansing set which contains both their products so let's see what I thought.

MuMe Daily Brush Cleaner
Is a liquid cleansing spray it's suitable for those who have sensitive skin the spray itself is fragranced with antibacterial essential oils may chang and tea tree. When using the spray it's advised to shake well before use and spray directly onto the bristles of the brush and wipe clean onto a towel. I found it easy to use it removed all traces of makeup, I find sometimes it can be quite difficult to remove foundation from brushes but the spray removed all traces. I also loved the scent it leaves your brushes smelling refreshed. Quick and great for on the go, would 100% purchase again!

MuMe Solid Soap Cleaner
Is great for deep cleaning your brushes, the solid soap contains kaolin clay and goats milk. When using wet the bristles of the brush a little tip when using make sure to avoid getting the handles of the brush wet as this can cause the glue to become loose, gently swirl the bristles of the brush in the cleanser until it begins to create a creamy like texture, then swirl the brush in the palm of your hand and rinse until it runs clear. I found it super easy and quick to use removed all traces of makeup.

As I said above I would 100% repurchase the products I found they work excellent the products are quick to use and compact great for those that are on the go and the brand is Irish so who wouldn’t want to support an up and coming Irish business. I actually think Britons pharmacy stock the brush cleaner if any of you want to check it out and you can also purchase it online at mume.ie.

Until Next Time Bee's,
Queen Bee.
